From my home in Charneca da Caparica, Portugal.

Can't Leave the Country
We're rather stuck right now as we await AIMA (the immigration dept. here) to approve our (expired, but officially extended within Portugal) residence renewal, so it is inadvisable to exit the country until that is sorted. It's been slow going, but we're making progress. And we love it here, so there's no downside :)
✅ Changing Priorities
Since moving to Portugal twenty-eight months ago, health and fitness has been a more prevalent feature of my life. Weight training and cardio are top priorities, especially with all the tasty food and wine here.
Learning Português and integrating into the culture seems an unending process, but the challenges and changes are great for an aging brain like mine.
Trying to manage my time is still a mess, pen and paper, Slack, email, calendar, etc.
The problem may not be the tool on the screen, but the one between the chair and the keyboard...
📚 Publishing Projects
My Lovecraftian horror short story is now done. Looking to publish it somewhere, but all the usual magazines are getting bought-up these days. Might just wind up on Medium.
Pathfinder 2 version of the Libram of Lists (is in the formatting stage)
Still collecting tales about kooky things that happened at work. I've over one-hundred now.
🛝 Diversions
Book:The Maestro's Daughter, about the daughter of a fencing maestro in the 1710s.
Podcast: The Drive, Peter Attia MD's excellent podcast on medicine related to healthspan (not necessarily how long you live, which is also important, but the quality of your life). I feel smarter just for listening.
Video Game: No Man's Sky, a huge time-suck currently. On the upside, my traveler is rather wealthy and has seen three star systems now.
🕸 Sites and Social
D&D 3.5e SRD: My contribution to the community, by hosting an updated version of the site, for the best version of Dungeons and Dragons (IMHO).
Urban Realms: Where my wife and I hock our wares.
Bluesky: My neglected feed, where all the cool kids are going instead of Xitter.
Instagram: Feed of my photos (all cars).
My one article on Medium about what D&D did for me.
